The Secret News. Not sure what to think exactly, seems to be run by conspiracy theorists with bags over their heads. ;)
And they copied my post without even a little mention. But regardless, I do respect people voicing their opinions and the more information available to you, the reader, the better off you are in forming your own opinions.

Interesting that you accuse the Secret News of 'stealing your post' when you lifted it from Council member John Fricke's website, who in turn got the video from the Secret News photographers (filmed at City Hall). Perhaps you should clear this up with your readers.
Travis - Thanks for writing about us. But as Brian Donahue said, we didn't copy your post. We videotaped the City Council meeting outselves, and we actually posted the letter from John Fricke before you did. This is not to say we won't "copy" from you in the future. But we will always credit you if what we are copying is original material that we couldn't easily get somewhere else.
having people with bags over their heads in the picture located on the front page of the emeryville secret news really is not a good idea... i could not find out who they are by looking for the secret news' staff, editors etc nor could i find an email address to write to the people or the paper...
i do not read the secret news and so it was surprising to learn that an open letter i sent to the emeryville google group appeared there... would have been a good idea to tell me that you wanted to publish it...i suppose an open letter can be picked up by anyone and used for any purpose but when the users do their best to remain anonymous and do not inform authors that they intend to use what the author has written, they do not make a friend and at worst do openness a disservice...
